Mr. Thompson concentrates in the areas of appellate law and criminal litigation. He has been employed at the firm since his first year of law school, when he was hired as a summer associate. During his studies at the University of Virginia School of Law, one of the nation's top law schools, Mr. Thompson qualified for the National Trial Competition Final rounds. He also participated in a criminal defense program for indigent defendants, where his efforts resulted in acquittals or dismissals in several criminal cases.
